Installing The Gain Pot

POTENTIOMETER

The DIY500 mkII Minimal Kit includes a specialized, high quality potentiometer (pot) for gain adjustment. Designated “RV1″, it has 3 interior pins carrying the electrical connections, and 4 exterior solder tabs supporting a mechanical brace (standoff). Since this pot is just slightly taller than the front panel 1/4″ connector, we will now install it in a similar manner.
